The body floor and sides are made from wear-resistant Hardox® 500 Tuf steel. Strenx® steel is used for the structural components. The material selection takes into account both durability and the trailer’s tare weight.
The robust construction is designed to withstand demanding, intensive use. With a tare weight of 5.5 tonnes, the trailer leaves as much capacity as possible for the load.

The Ferrel 195DH is fitted with 710/40 R 22.5 BKT FL-630 Ultra tyres. Designed for demanding conditions, they are suitable for use in the field, on construction sites and on the road. The axles have a 100 × 100 mm section and a 10-bolt wheel connection. The brake size is 406 × 140 mm.
The spring-suspended drawbar helps absorb sudden impacts between the tractor and trailer and reduces vibrations transferred to the tractor, making the ride smoother.
The maximum tipping angle is 53°. The trailer uses two NAT 6 tipping cylinders, and the hydraulic system operates at 180–200 bar. Brakes help the operator control the loaded trailer in demanding conditions. Depending on the configuration, hydraulic or pneumatic brakes are available for two or four wheels.
Practical details for everyday work
The Ferrel 195DH is designed with practical details in mind. LED lights with protective grilles are better shielded from impact. Hydraulic pipes, hoses and electrical cables are routed carefully so they do not hang loose or get in the way during work. The tailgate lift cylinders are enclosed within the body sides to protect them from damage and dirt. The rear underrun guard is height-adjustable to suit the type of work.
The frame and body are painted in Ferrel’s standard colours, RAL 7021 and RAL 3003. The dark frame and red body give the trailer a distinctive, professional appearance that fits well into any fleet. The 195DH can also be ordered in colours matching your company’s branding.
